As a fan of the genre, I was skeptical about Empress and Her Guardian, but it won me over quickly. Strong performances, a tightly written script, and a soundtrack that fits the mood. Absolutely worth your time.

This one took me by surprise. Empress and Her Guardian has a compelling premise and it doesn't waste a single minute. The emotional beats hit hard and the finale is satisfying. A solid 9 out of 10 from me.
